Between soft serve in Troy, defeating my license plate disappointment, and the world's catchiest jingle, I've had quite a first month here in the Capital Region.
Yes, it's true. The iconic Snowman Ice Cream in the Lansingburgh section of Troy has officially been sold. After close to 70 years in business, the most recent owner said it was just time to slow down and spend more time with his family.
Its that time of year. The time where we can start forgetting about the brutally cold days and look forward to the terribly hot ones. Snowman's Ice Cream Stand is now open.
It's almost summer in the Capital Region (though it already feels that way lately with the high temperatures). I for one am so happy to be away from snowstorms and grey skies for a few months, and am looking forward to a great summer here in Albany...
