Is Taylor Swift Getting Married at Madiscon Square Garden?

We have dealt with some pretty big celebrity weddings over the years. 2026 is about to see one of the biggest ones in history, only rivaling the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018. These were some of the biggest spectacles that had the world watching. Now we're getting ready for the big union between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. One a musical icon and the other an icon of sports. Together they will be a super couple for years to come after the wedding on the weekend of the Fourth of July.

Where is Taylor Swift Getting Married?

As of right now it isn't exactly clear where the couple is going to get married but there are several rumors that suggest that it will be in New York and that it will be potentially at the iconic Madison Square Garden.

When it comes to a wedding of this size you can bet they will likely need a venue to accommodate all of the big guests that will be in attendance. I don't know if MSG is going to be the site of the actually wedding itself, or maybe just a really big after party.

The reason people suspect that Swift and Kelce are getting married at MSG is because of permits attained for the venue at that time. The BBC reports that those permits are asking that the roads be closed around MSG on the Fourth of July weekend and that Swift and Kelce have hotel rooms booked for that time period at hotels near the Garden. Amtrack police officers were also told to expect a Swift wedding over that weekend.

I love a good rumor, and also love that this is being kept such a secret. It makes total sense for Swift to get married at MSG since she's such a huge Knicks fan. I hope you can all detect my sarcasm there.
