Emily Chrislip and her husband decided to become surrogate parents for a couple in China, however due to COVID, they're still taking care of the baby because of the lack of flights between the US and China.

 

KIVITV reports that now, more than four months after the birth of the baby girl, the surrogate parents are still caring for her and it's unclear when her parents will be able to come from China to meet her.

Travel restrictions have been lifted, but there simply aren't that many flights between the U.S. and China currently.
