This is the end. At least it will be as of tomorrow, assuming the Mayan apocalypse arrives as scheduled. In anticipation of the end of the world as we know it, check out this new trailer for the Seth Rogen/James Franco apocalyptic comedy 'This Is the End.'

'This Is the End' - or 'The End of the World' as it was previously known - stars James Franco, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Michael Cera and Emma Watson and is based on a short film titled 'Jay & Seth Vs. The Apocalypse' (which you can watch here). Rogen adapted the film to the big screen (and makes his directorial debut on the project), which goes something like this:

The comedy 'This Is The End' follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

Considering tomorrow really is the apocalypse, now is the perfect time to sit back and enjoy the fictional end of the world, before the real one wipes us all out. It's worth it just for Danny McBride's riff at a breakfast table. "Yeah so Michael Cera's gone, it's not a total loss, huh?"

You can watch the (hilarious) 'This Is the End' trailer below and also check out the 'This Is the End' poster. The movie hits theaters on June 14th.
