This Man Lost Money, New York State Police Want To Give It Back
In most cases, when the New York State Police are looking for an individual that person has broken a law. On occasion Troopers want to locate you to ask questions regarding a crime or a missing person. Rarely is it a good feeling to have police searching for you. This is one of those rare cases.
The individual pictured below LOST money while shopping at a Dollar General. New York State Police have recovered the sum of cash and would like to return it. Take a look at the pictures below, is that you or someone you know?
On Monday October 7th at approximately 5pm, according to a post on the New York State Police Facebook page, the individual pictured below was shopping at the Dollar General in Winthrop, NY. While in the store this man allegedly lost a sum of money. Now Troopers are attempting to identify the man and return his cash.
The money was recovered and turned over to New York State Police Massena. Troopers are currently keeping the money in a safe location until they can return it to the man pictured below. If you have any information pertaining to this incident please contact New York State Police at 315-379-0012.
Hopefully the person that lost the money is located and the cash is returned. It is interesting that the New York State Police are searching for this individual. If he lost $5, $50 or even $100 I don't know that they would be looking for him. If I lost $5 or more I'd be retracing my steps like a crazy person.
