If you have used Ticketmaster at all for the last dozen years, you're in line for a refund!  Due to a profit from those pesky processing fees, and without declaring as much, Ticketmaster is being forced via a class action settlement to send some credits your way!

The $1.50 credit per ticket order can be yours if you have purchased tickets from Ticketmaster between October 21, 1999 and October 19, 2011 (up to 17 orders).

According to Kevin Lincoln's article, " credits are in the form of vouchers, which can be redeemed a maximum of two at a time." Lincoln continues, "Credits won't be issued prior to April 15, 2012, and should come within 30 days after Final Approval of the settlement (currently scheduled for May 29, 2012)."

Not too shabby!  It's only $1.50 but perhaps next Summer, I'll be able to check out some local shows at the Times Union Center or maybe the Palace Theatre for a couple of bucks less.  Guess buying those expensive seats to the Tour of Brotherly Love with The Black Crowes and Oasis back in '01 at the Radio City Music Hall was worth it eh?

How about you? Are you due for a refund?  What shows have you checked out over the last dozen years?
