Join the Brunswick Town Historians from the Brunswick Historical Society on a guided walk through the famous abandoned Pinewood Cemetery (a.k.a. Forest Park Cemetery) home of the Headless Angel.

"The cemetery has long been closed to the public (since the 30's I believe) and overgrown by woods, supposedly as legend has it, following a few unexplained incidents, including one where the bodies that were being held in the mausoleum disappeared without a trace sometime in the 20's or 30's" www.weirdus.com

Normally, Pinewood Cemetery is closed to the public because of vandalism so the only way to experience the creepiness was to break the law and hope you don't get caught. On October 26th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. you can tour the grounds with local historians to hear the facts and fiction of this nationally known creepy destination.

Legend has it that the Headless Angel bleeds from the neck at night, the voices and footsteps of children can be heard in the bushes and the crumbling mausoleum has a weird green glow and the crypts all went empty one day back in the 20's or 30's.
