Turntable Treasures, Will You Find Gold in these Albany Albums?
If you are in your 40's, 50's or 60's you probably grew up listening to your favorite artists on vinyl. I loved heading to the local record store to spend hours flipping through the bins. Sometimes I found classic like "Dark Side of the Moon", other times it was the latest release from by favorite band and every time I hoped to find something new to check out.
You can relive that vinyl discovery experience this September with two separate events at the Ramada Plaza in Albany. On Saturday September 11th it's the Albany 45/78 Bash and on Sunday September 12th it's the Albany Record Riot.
Albany 45/78 Bash makes it's debut in Albany and on Saturday it's all about 45's, 7 inch singles and 78s. Admission is $3.00 for regular admission or $25 to enter with the dealers at 9 AM.
Albany Record Riot features over 50 tables of LPs, CDs, 45s and more. Dealers from New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. Admission is $3 for regular admission or $10 for early entry.
