In a time to when new businesses seem to be popping up and thriving in Schenectady it is sad to hear that one will be shutting it's doors for good.

Over the last three years Chez Nous has been serving up a very eclectic menu that has included foie gras, escargots, octopus, kangaroo, elk, venison, quiche, monkfish, tuna, scallops, lobster, Arctic char, oysters, clams, shrimp, crayfish, sea bass, duck, and rabbit, as well as delicious cheeses including a weekly Cheese Fondue night in the winter.Unfortunately this Valentines Day weekend will be your last chance to have one last meal. According to the TU the owners of Chez Nous have come to accept the fact that despite feeling like they accomplished their goal of helping to make Schenectady more beautiful business volume is not high enough to cover costs and will close next month.
