We Need Your Frozen Turkey Donations For Thanksgiving

Not everyone will have the traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. However, you can help put that meal on the table for some less fortunate people right here in the Capital Region.

Join Q105.7, The Salvation Army and the Q1057 Workforce for our Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, Saturday, November 23 from 8 a.m.- noon at Market 32 in Mohawk Commons, 402 Balltown Road in Schenectady.

Please donate a frozen turkey (or heck, maybe even a couple) at the Q1057 location right in front of Market 32. Maybe buy an extra turkey when you're doing your shopping at Market 32 and drop it off with us on your way out.

Here's the really cool part: The Salvation Army takes on the preparation and expenses for Thanksgiving Day in order to give Meals on Wheels the holiday to spend with their families. Meals on Wheels provides food for people all year long so this is a great way to give them a day to spend with their family and at the same time are you providing a Thanksgiving meal for a family or individual less fortunate.
