Everyone is afraid of something. It could be big or small, but the fear is very much alive.

You can try your hardest to fight being afraid but at some point that emotion is going to somehow take over. Now, it doesn't have to be a fear of something that is scary, but sometimes a situation can be so scary that it causes fear.

Honestly I think that's just anxiety, but I think it is one in the same. NOTE: BJ is not a doctor.

Whether it is a certain type of animal, and unexplained phenomena or even just life itself fear is very real. So what is it that cause the Capital Region to hide under the covers at night?

I'll save you the trouble of commenting, no it is not Mayor Sheehan.

Here were some of the comments we got:

"Drowning" - Andrea

"Centipedes! Otherwise the future of our country and what life will look like" - Kathleen

"Totaling my car with a full tank of gas and having to syphon it out." - Amanda

"Quicksand" - Mike

"Horses, stingrays, and sharks" - Scott

There were also a fair amount of people who felt the need to bring politics into it, but do we really need to go there with everything? It really is getting old.

Personally for me by biggest fear is not having enough time. I would like to say it's heights, but honestly not having enough time to spend with the people who matter in your life is terrifying. We are only here for such a short time, so don't waste a minute of it.
