Formed in 1995,  by vocalist Josh Todd &  lead guitarist Keith Nelson because of their love of AC/DC and were originally known as Sparrow.  They renamed the band Buckcherry after finding out another band was named Sparrow.
They released their debut self titled album in 1999 which included the hit "Lit Up".  The band toured non stop, opening for Lenny Kravitz,  AC/DC and even played Woodstock in 99 .   In 2001 musical tension caused many members of the band to leave.  Josh & Keith decided to keep the band and began writing their 3rd album.   However Josh left the band and ultimately caused its demise.

While Buckcherry was on hiatus, Josh played with Slash, Duff McKagan, &  Matt Scorum. There was speculation that Josh Todd would become the lead singer of the Project headed up by Slash.  He recorded 10 songs with the band.  However Slash decided to scrap the project and ultimately used Scott Weiland to head the band that would become Velvet Revolver.

In 2006 Buckcherry reformed and released their 3rd album entitled "15"  thei'r most successful album to date which included the hit "Crazy Bitch" and the top ten hit  "Sorry"!   They have since released two other albums,  played with Motley Crue on Cruefest and just recently opened for Nickelback.  They are a rough, tough and gritty band that will feel right at home playing at a club like Northern Lights - Its their roots.  It will be loud, hot, sweaty and a party!
