William Fichtner Stops By Altamont Tavern, Charms Locals With Kindness
Recently, actor William Fichtner was spotted spending some time at Farmhouse Tap & Tavern in Altamont, NY. What brings him to the Capital Region? Does he live here? Is he filming something in the area? Who knows, I just think it's pretty cool.
I realize celebrities are people just like you and me. I also realize that it can be pretty exciting to run into someone famous. It's kinda like seeing your 4th grade teacher outside of school. What are you doing here?

William Fichtner is best known for his roles in blockbusters such as Armageddon, Black Hawk Down, The Perfect Storm, and FBI Agent Alexander Mahone on the television series Prison Break. This dude has been in everything!

According to a post on the Farmhouse Tap & Tavern Facebook page, Fichtner spent an evening at their place and was very kind, which is great to hear. Although it looks like he could use an iron for that shirt.
Born on Long Island and raised in the Buffalo area, Fichtner is no stranger to the Empire State. As a matter of fact Fichtner is a huge Buffalo Bills fan. In 2015 he narrated the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary, "Four Falls of Buffalo".
In 2014 Fichtner starred in an official Buffalo Bills commercial titled "What It Means to Be a Bills Fan". A true member of the Bills Mafia. I wonder how he feels about the new Highmark Stadium.
