World of Beer Albany Hosts Grand Opening Event [Photos & Video]

June 23 is the official opening of Albany's own location for World of Beer inside Crossgates Mall, but Q103 was there the day before for the special preview night.

World of Beer has over 500 brews from around the world with a rotating cast of 56 on tap. What do we mean by rotating cast? They will be rotating what beers are on tap every couple of days so it's always a fresh set of brews the next time you visit.

They also offer up tavern fare from burgers, (amazing) mac and cheese, sliders, and even a giant German pretzel. Inside the menu, WOB offers what beer best pairs with the food and by trying their recommendations ourselves, trust what they say.

On top of the beer and food, World of Beer will also have live music every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Best part: there will never be cover charges on nights with live music.

They will be open Sunday through Wednesday, 11 a.m. - midnight and Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-2 a.m.
