Just another strong argument for the need for instant replay in Major League Baseball. Yankee outfielder Dewayne Wise looked like he made a great catch Tuesday night against Cleveland, but it was not a catch at all.

The New York Yankees were taking on the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday night. The Yankees were up on the Indians 4-0 in the seventh inning, when Dewayne Wise made a crazy catch to end the inning, and preserve a shutout performance for pitcher Phil Hughes. But wait.

After the call was made, the replay revealed that he clearly didn't make the catch at all. Wise made a great attempt to get to ball and went right into the first row on the stands. The Umpire just assumed that he made the catch, and called it an out. If Wise did make that catch, it would have easily been one of the best of the season.
