9/11 Remembrances In The Capital Region

There are many ways in the Capital Region to honor the victims of 9/11, first respondents and victims of the aftermath.

Here are a few of the remembrances around the area today.

Members of the American Legion Post 1231 in East Greenbush will hold a ceremony at noon.

In Saratoga Springs, there will be a 9/11 remembrance at High Rock Park.

In Ballston Spa at 6:30 p.m. there will be a ceremony at the 9/11 monument. The monument includes two steel beams from ground zero.

The New York State Museum opens at 9:30 a.m. with a guided tour of the 9/11 exhibit at 1 p.m.

In Schenectady at 6:30 p.m. at the Bridge Christian Church will have their annual 9/11 tribute service.

In Troy today from 10 a.m. to noon there will be a video documentary on the events of 9/11 at Maureen Stapleton Theater at the Hudson Valley Community College.
