Albany Business Owner Arrested, Does He Owe You Money Too?
It is becoming more and more difficult to trust anyone to do work that needs to be done around the house, the lawn, your car or any repair or improvement. When the task is out of your expertise, we rely on those that claim to be reliable and knowledgeable. Sadly, that isn't always the case.
Have you hired an Albany based company called BluView Windows? Did you give them money? Was the job finished? Did they even start the job? The owner of BluView has been arrested and this is why.
BluView Windows located at 2 Computer Drive West in Albany is listed on the Better Business Bureau website with multiple complaints against the company.
- "I just want my deposit of $4300.00 returned to me"
- "gave them a $900 deposit and never heard from them again about updates on install date"
- "I have not heard anything back from the company and have not received my $6500 deposit back but I was able to close the account with the 10k hold on my credit."
The list of complaints against BluView is lengthy. In September 2022, Troopers received a complaint against BluView Windows of Albany. The investigation determined that the owner of the business allegedly collected over $35,000 meant to act as a deposit and/or payment from multiple residents for agreed upon contracted work. The work was never started and none of the money was returned.
