Albany TV Station Window Smashed; Man Demands Dogs Be Returned
A man in Albany was arrested who police say kicked in a television station window Thursday.
According to The Record (Troy, NY), police responded to a call at WTEN around 2:45 am regarding a man that had tried to kick in the front door of the tv station. Robert Caserta, 46, of Albany had smashed a window and demanded that his dogs be returned. This incident stems from a previous incident back on Sept. 25 where Caserta was arrested for animal cruelty for forcing beer down his dog's throat. The story was covered by several media outlets including WTEN and police say that Caserta believed that his dogs were being held at the TV station.
Castera now sits in Albany County Jail having been detained due to an outstanding warrant for failing to answer the animal cruelty charge. He is also charged with third-degree criminal mischief.
