After twenty years in Albany, it's official, Andy's sports bar is gone. The sign is down and the building has been painted and redone. Now the anticipation is that the new upscale sports bar will be opening soon at 605 New Scotland Ave.

The New Restaurant 605 Will Open Soon

Gabriel Moya of Albany is the owner of Restaurant 605. The name pays tribute to the address of the new eatery. According to the Times Union, Moya says the new restaurant will be a "neighborhood sports bar with global eats and big flavors".

Restaurant 605's burgers are made fresh to order and locally sourced from Highland Hollow, NY. This is their Smashburger that has American cheese, caramelized onions, maple glazed applewood bacon, and their special 605 sauce. It is all on a toasted egg twist bun.

Restaurant 605 Takes Bar Food to Another Level

They appeal to the sports fan and the heartbreak we feel when our favorite team loses or our favorite player is out for the season with their delicious nachos.
