The store's signage and all trace of it has vanished from inside of Crossgates Mall in Guilderland, NY.

If you were a fan of  shopping at this popular women's athletic apparel store you'll have to venture elsewhere because it looks like they have closed up for good inside of Crossgates.

While the store is closed, it is still listed on the official website for the mall with the hours. We're not sure when the store officially closed its doors, but there was a sign on the door as of Saturday January 25th that directed Vendors to contact them elsewhere. That elsewhere is likely their new location in Stuyvesant Plaza.

If you go to Google you will now see that the store is permanently closed in the Crossgates Location.

it was announced in November that Athetla would be coming to Stuyvesant Plaza, along with Vineyard Vines.

Athleta

The premier fitness fashion brand for women offers a collection of apparel for yoga, running, swimming, gym, hiking and skiing – designed by and for female athletes – as well as an array of other products for both athletic and everyday activities.

Many other businesses around the Capital Region announced closures in 2024, like Nordstrom Rack, which will close in February. Big Lots, 7-Eleven, and Joanne Fabric have also announced closures, along with GameStop. Many of these places had multiple locations in and around the Capital Region.

No word yet on when Athleta plans to officially open at Stuyvesant Plaza, but it will be near White House Black Market when it does in the Spring.
