Blizzard Beer, Bud Light Makes Beer From Snow At Buffalo Bills Home Game
Budweiser's new Blizzard Beer is said to be made with snow from Highmark Stadium in Buffalo. Time to drink a snowstorm responsibly!
Bud Light, the official beer sponsor of the National Football League and the Buffalo Bills, is celebrating the final season at Highmark Stadium with a limited-edition brew made with snow from the stadium.

The Buffalo Bills just might have the most dedicated fans. The Bills Mafia are known to leap through tables, and show up by the thousands in bone chilling temperatures to cheer on their team. Occasionally they arrive with shovels.
One great Buffalo tradition is when fans arrive to shovel the snow out of Highmark Stadium before home games. Now Bud Light is celebrating that tradition with Blizzard Beer.
According to a press release, to mark the last season in the current Highmark Stadium, Bud Light and the Bills are teaming up to celebrate and thank fans whose passion and traditions, like the shovelers, make the community special.
Following the first snowfall at Highmark Stadium earlier this season, Bud Light and the Bills joined forces to collect the snow and transport it to Anheuser-Busch’s brewery in Baldwinsville, NY. There, the snow was integrated in the brewing process to create a limited-edition brew.
The “Blizzard Brew” will be available at participating retailers in the Buffalo area and wherever Bills Mafia enjoys the final regular season home game.
Bud Light has been a partner of the Buffalo Bills for nearly twenty-five years, and we’re very excited to continue our partnership with a program that brings Bills Mafia’s passion and Buffalo’s legendary weather together in a never-before-done way. We’re thrilled to officially bring ‘Blizzard Brew’ to life for our fans. - Jason Hartlund, Bills Chief Commercial Officer
