Carpet in Florida Police Station Says “In Dog We Trust”

It’s hard to tell if this is a mistake or the police department in Florida just believe in the higher power of Dog. I know if we’re talking miniature dachshund or an Australian Sheppard corgi mix I’ll admit I too believe in that kind of dog whole heartdly.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office ordered a new carpet to sit in the entrance of the station with the emblem and shield printed on it. The carpet sat there for about 2 months before someone pointed out that the part that should read “in God we trust” actually read “in Dog we trust”. I have seen Turner and Hooch so I can understand if this is not a misprint.
