We're feeling what could be record heat in the Capital Region today, so as a precaution, the city will move tonight's free Alive at 5 show with Doug E. Fresh to the rain location. In other words, you'll have plenty of shade.

Generally, these shows are held on the stage at Jennings Landing at the Corning Preserve, but due to the extreme heat and the chance of thunderstorms, the show will be moved up the road. The rain location is underneath the 787 overpass at Colonie Street and Water Street, right by the Corning Preserve boat launch.

Everything else remains the same. Food and beverage vendors will still be on hand and you'll be able to rock out under the bridge.

Tonight's lineup is:

  • OHZHE
  • DJ TGIF
  • DJ Hollyw8d
  • Doug E. Fresh

And hosted by Hot 99.1's DJ Biz.
