Cohoes Announces ‘Rock the Block’ Summer Concert Series
More cities and towns are planning outdoor concerts for 2022. We can add Cohoes to that list. The city has announced the return of their 'Rock the Block' series that will take place on Thursday nights over the course of eight weeks. The concerts begin in June.

Everything from pop hits to new wave
Aquanett, July 14
80's rock tribute
Skeeter Creek, July 21

Hammer of the Gods, July 28
Led Zeppelin tribute
Berkstar, August 4
Funk, groove, R&B, and soul
All concerts are free and held on the state in Canal Square at 72 Remsen Street.
No outside coolers will be permitted. Alcohol must be purchased on site. Food trucks will also be there. The city recommends bringing your own lawn chair, and get there early if you want a seat up close.
All shows begin at 6:30 and run approximately two hours. More info can be found on the official Rock the Block website or Facebook page.
Colonie announced their summer concert lineup back in April. Those shows will take place at the Crossings.
More concerts from around the Capital Region are expected within the next few days.
