Most of the Rock concerts that took place throughout New York State went off without much issue. Even the weather cooperated for the most part. There were a few strange occurrences though.

  • John Mellencamp was scheduled to play the Palace Theatre in Albany on June 13th. Literally the day before the show was cancelled without reason. To make things even stranger, Mellencamp played Syracuse 2 days later.
  • Noel Gallagher cancelled his show at SPAC minutes before he was scheduled to take the stage. We later learned that a bomb threat was the reason for the abrupt ending.
  • Bruce Springsteen had to postpone his MVP Arena show but the good news is the Boss is scheduled to make that show good on September 19th.
