Signs Officially Go Up at Costco in Guilderland
The people of the Capital Region are pretty excited for our area to finally get a Costco. It's been a long time coming, first starting with a rumor, and then suddenly a site was chosen and the construction began. Now, we're looking at some real progress as the exterior of the building looks nearly complete. The signs have officially gone up and everyone is anxious to begin their shopping.
When will Costco Officially Open?
As of August 2025, they were looking at finishing the construction portion by the end of 2025. It looks like they were able to achieve that. When it comes to the actual opening date, that's still uncertain. Many speculate that the opening date won't come until late summer 2026. Judging from how fast they seem to be moving, I wouldn't doubt that they're looking to soft open this location in spring or early summer instead.
