Explosion Heard, Major Fire at Coeymans Marina [PHOTOS/VIDEO]

Update 2:41pm: The Times Union is reporting that a worker was welding in the boat house when a fuel tank ignited, causing the major explosion. Co-workers reportedly had to use a fire extinguisher to put out flames on the man. He was airlifted to a burn center in Syracuse, his condition is unknown.

Emergency crews are on the scene of what's being described as a massive fire at Coeymans Landing Marina in Coeymans. There were reports that a large explosion was heard before the fire began. Black smoke can be seen from miles away.

The cause is not yet known, though there are reports the explosion happened at a building where fueled boats are stored and that at least one person is being treated for injuries.
