It's the first day of Spring today (March 20), and a new snow storm is on it's way but it isn't expected to hit the Capital Region area.

According to The Times Union, the Capital Region area will be spared from the upcoming snow storm on Wednesday but NYC could see over a foot of snow. The National Weather Service says that 12 -16 inches of snow is expected for NYC while the Capital Region may just see some flurries. A Winter Storm Warning goes into effect Midnight tonight through 8am Thursday for areas below the Capital Region and will start with mixed precipitation and eventually turn into heavy snowfall.

Well I'm happy to hear this news as we don't need anymore of the white stuff here in the Capital Region as far as i'm concerned. Although no snow forecasted, it will still be a cold first day of Spring today in the Albany area with temps only getting into the low to mid 30's with party sunny skies. How do you plan on spending the first day of Spring today?
