Get Discount Tickets for the New York State Fair This Week

Last week, I posted that the final music lineup was announced for the New York State Fair.

Well, if you're interested in going to the fair itself, you can get tickets starting this week at a discounted price.  This Monday, July 8th, advanced tickets are going on sale.  I caught wind of this at newyorkupstate.com, and it looks like you can save a good amount by scoring some tickets early.  According to newyorkupstate.com, the general admission tickets are usually $10 day-of, but if you buy the advanced tickets starting this week, count on a savings of $4 a ticket since you'll be paying only $6 a ticket.

You can get tickets at certain retail locations and through an online server starting Monday.  The New York State Fair is going to be running from August 21st through September 2nd, and outside of the music is going to feature a ton of fun events and special days honoring everyone from seniors to students to public service officials.  Get more info here!
