Governor Cuomo Increases Worker Reduction To 75% & Introduces Mortgage Relief
In today's press conference by Governor Cuomo he's asked that employers reduce employees reporting to work by 75%. Unless you are in an essential business like healthcare, first responders...etc. 75% of workers need to stay home and work from home to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
In addition, the governor announced Morgage relief for people feeling the financial pinch from the coronavirus. The relief package would wave mortgage payment for 90 days due to financial hardship. No missed payments would be reported to credit reporting bureaus, no late fees and it suspends foreclosures for at least 90 days. It also waves fees for overdraft, ATM and credit cards.
