What do infamous murder stories and beer have in common?  You can enjoy both during a night out in Albany.

About a week before Halloween, on October 23rd, you can experience chills and thrills while you sip some pints and listen to stories about one of Albany's most infamous murderers.  There is a pub lecture happening at McGeary's Irish Pub focusing on stories about "The Silent Slayer" of 1916.

Hosted by the Historic Albany Foundation, "Albany's Infamous Murders" is going to be happening from 6 to 8 pm- perfect timing so when it ends you can either go home scared or just be getting warmed up for a night out.  McGeary's is located at 4 Clinton Square in Albany, and you can get more info on the event here.  There's nothing spookier to me than true crime stories, so this one looks fun!
