Nichole Naccarato from Latham is January's Hometown Hero after an enlightening email submission from her friend Stephanie Joslin. Stephanie wrote to tell about this amazing woman who went from being a workout buddy to so much more, especially when times got tough.

Here's in part what Stephanie wrote in about her friend Nichole, manager of iLoveKickboxing in Clifton Park:

Nichole is AMAZING! Not only is she in college full time and working a full time job but she also is constantly arranging fund raising events for fellow kick boxing members and their families who are in need. She is so encouraging and motivational as an instructor and has the biggest heart out there.

In August I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and had to quit boxing. Being a single mom of 2 kids I was devastated by this news. Nichole went into action and created the most amazing benefit for me and my kids. She has little spare time but managed to drive around to many local facilities asking for gift card donations to create a raffle on my behalf. At 26 yrs old this lady showed so much love and dedication and I was so humbled by the love and support.
