Capital Region Breweries Rack Up Awards Across New York State

The 2026 New York State Craft Beer Competition showcased more than one thousand entries from across the state, with several Capital Region breweries earning recognition across a wide range of categories. The results highlight both consistency and creativity from local brewers.

In Saratoga Springs, Druthers Brewing Company had a strong showing with multiple medals. It earned silver in the amber lager category for its Vienna Lager and another silver in the hazy IPA category for Uncurious.

Which Local Breweries Won Honors?

Druthers also took gold in the kettle and simple sours category for The Dare, along with a bronze in the barrel-aged sour category for White Label Blackberry.

Wayward Lane Brewing in Schoharie also stood out with several awards. The brewery earned silver in the American double IPA category for Biosphere and silver in the barrel-aged non-sour category for Phylum. It added bronze medals for Supernature in the field beer category and Tmave Pekar in the dark lager category.

Artisanal Brew Works in Saratoga Springs captured a gold medal in the American lager category for its beer All, showing strength in a highly competitive style.

Capital Region Breweries Racked in The Wins

Wolf Hollow Brewing in West Glenville brought home a silver medal in the golden and blonde ales category for Brunette’s Revenge.

Seven Points Brewing in Schenectady also earned recognition with a silver medal in the porter category for Baritone.

Overall, Capital Region breweries proved they can compete at a high level, earning honors across classic and modern beer styles while continuing to build a strong reputation statewide.
