Look Who Is Confirmed To Perform In Saratoga This Spring, Part of the Belmont Festival

Horse racing and Saratoga Springs, New York go hand in hand but the 2024 season will be bigger than usual. The Belmont Stakes, the oldest of the 3 Triple Crown events, and the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will be held at Saratoga Race Course this June.

Construction at the Belmont Park in Elmont, NY is expected to continue for quite some time enabling Saratoga to host the Belmont for both 2024 and 2025! People from all over the World will make their way to Saratoga County for the 4-day celebration which will include a free concert with the band Blues Traveler.

The Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will take place June 6, 2024 through June 9, 2024. This celebration will spill out of Saratoga Race Course and onto Broadway, which is expected to be closed to traffic, in the center of town.

Discover Saratoga confirms that the band Blues Traveler is scheduled to perform a free concert on Wednesday June 5th in Saratoga Springs, NY. The performance will take place on Broadway in front of the Saratoga City Center.

Blues Traveler plan to release the 30th anniversary blue color vinyl edition of the album "Four". Originally released in September of 1994 "Four" features "Run-Around", "Hook" and "Stand" just to name a few.

The album "Four" reached #8 on the Billboard Top 200 charts and the song "Run-Around" won the 1995 Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by A duo or Group. The band's latest album "Traveler's Soul" is out now.
