Comic books from these days and my childhood in the late 80's and 90's aren't worth all that much money, but if you have some from the 'Golden Age' then you could make serious cash, as this California man found out.

Imagine you're a kid and see a new comic book and decide to pick it up because you think this new character is kind of cool.  Anyone who grabbed Action Comics #1 in 1938 got a first look at Superman, and now that book is worth nearly $300,000.  It sold for 10 cents back in the day.  A good investment if you ask me.

A California man found his late great uncle's comic collection while cleaning out his house, and it had some real gems in it.  The first Superman, Batman, and Captain America #2, which featured the famous cover of him punching Adolf Hitler in the face.  Those books, plus a bunch of other brought in $3.5 million.  That is a nice chunk of change.  So if you have one of the 100 copies left of Action Comics #1, you may want to cash in because people are willing to pay top dollar for it.
