A brand new 1.5 mile drive-thru Christmas lights display is on at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

Finally! Christmas and the joy of the holiday season are upon us and if you love twinkling Christmas lights and decorations, a brand new holiday lights experience has arrived in the Capital Region.

"Holiday Lighted Nights" At Washington Country Fairgrounds

Who is up for a little holiday drive for some Christmas lights in the country? Running right through Thursday, December 23rd is a brand new 1.5-mile drive-thru Christmas light display called "Holiday Lighted Nights." It will be shining giant lighted displays for your viewing enjoyment at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Not only will there be lots of twinkling lights for your enjoyment, but there will also be cookies, drinks, kettle corn, and cider doughnut available.

This one is super-convenient too as there is easy access to the fairgrounds right on Route 29 in Greenwich, and you can pre-order your tickets and refreshments. You can skip the line and reserve your vehicle pass now at the Washington County Fair website.

The one thing I really love about this new location is the convenience, but just the 'Country' feel of heading into the Washington County countryside to enjoy some Christmas spirit will be a new adventure for us to enjoy. And having a bunch of donuts and treats waiting when you get there doesn't hurt as an added bonus!
