I love to test drive cars. The excitement of this vehicle potentially becoming mine and the chance to dream about driving something that might be a little out of my price range. We have all done that 1 mile loop in a dealership vehicle but have you ever taken a school bus for a test drive?
One Capital Region school district is giving us the opportunity to take a school bus for a test drive. All you need is desire and a valid drivers license.

Shenendehowa Central School District is offering the chance to test drive the bus on Wednesday August 4th. How knows, maybe you will love it and find a brand new career.

If you've ever thought about driving a school bus, now is your chance! Shenendehowa Central School District's trained staff will allow prospective applicants with a valid driver's license to drive a school bus, supervised, around the Shen Campus.
My aunt used to drive school buses down in the Hudson Valley and she absolutely loved it. For some reason, her favorite thing to do was put it in reverse and park it in a spot.
According to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), districts across the state are experiencing a shortage of drivers. If you are interested you should contact the Transportation Department to register at 518-881-0240 or email transportation@shenschools.org. You will need a CDL license with School Bus “S” endorsement and Passenger "P” endorsement.
