New System of a Down Album Coming in 2017

System of a Down drummer John Dolmayan confirmed that the band has 15 album worthy songs ready to be released in 2017.

It has been 11 years since System of a Down released a new studio album and now the wait will soon be over and I can't think of a better time for System of a Down to make their triumphant return. Although they already have 15 songs ready to go for their 6th studio album, I am sure no one will mind it if they make it 15 or 17 including a good Anti-Trump song.

Dolmayan said that the new album is not going to be the same old SOAD and that the band is working on something for a new generation of fans.

System of a Down is one of my favorite bands and I have recently been working on creating one of those new fans, I have taught my four-year-old son to sing the chorus to Revenga.
