New York Man Arrested At Upstate Wedding, You Won’t Believe This

Your 100 or so guests are going to be your family members, closest friends and the people that love you most. Would you ever think that, by the end of the night, you'd have to tackle one of these guests and take a rifle from him? This happened in Upstate New York just this week.

On Saturday September 16th, according to a press release, New York State Police responded to a call regarding a person with a weapon. When officers arrived they witnessed a group of individuals restraining someone.

Following an investigation New York State Troopers concluded that the suspect became intoxicated while attending a wedding. During the reception the suspect allegedly forcibly touched 4 female guests. That's when the suspect was told to leave, which he did, only to return with a gun.

The suspect returned to the wedding location with an Anderson AM-15 assault rifle in his possession. The suspect walked up the driveway in an aggressive manner inserting a 30-round magazine loaded with 5.56 ammunition into his assault weapon and cycling the bolt action. Feeling threatened, wedding guests tackled the suspect and were able to disarm him.

46-year-old Christopher W. Kallfelz of Camillus, New York was subsequently arrested for the following charges:

• (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3^rd degree, class “D” felony
• (1) count of Making a Terroristic Threat, class “D” felony
• (4) counts of Forcible Touching, class “A” misdemeanor
• (1) count of Aggravated DWI, unclassified misdemeanor
