New York State Police In Capital Region Asking, Do You Know This Individual?
The 2023 holiday shopping season was crazy! Many New Yorkers relied on the tried and true local brick and mortar stores and of course the mall. One problem for stores is theft, inside the store and outside the store.
New York State Police Troop G are looking for an individual accused of stealing. In this case however the theft wasn't inside the store. This individual is accused of breaking into a car in the parking lot of a Capital Region Walmart. Do you know this individual?
Investors Business Daily indicates that stores such as Target, Kohl's and Walmart lost more that $112 billion to theft in 2022 with more loss estimated for 2023. That's a huge loss for the retail giants but what about you? Your car might just be an easy target for thieves as well.
On Friday December 29th, according to a New York State Police Facebook post, a male individual entered the Walmart Supercenter on Quaker Ridge Boulevard in Queensbury. Just before he entered the building authorities believe he broke into a car in the parking lot.
This individual appears to be holding a phone and wearing a Reebok hoodies with matching baseball style hat. He may be in need of new pants as these don't appear to fit. If you have any information or are able to identify this individual please contact State Police, Queensbury by calling 518-457-6811 or emailing crimetip@troopers.ny.gov.
