During the coronavirus pandemic, many companies and individuals have stepped up to help our first responders and medical professionals that are running out of important protective gear.

There is a group that is normally focused on hitting the slopes this time of year but instead have turned their focus on making medical masks for our frontline heroes.

The Northeast Skiology Facebook group, run by Matt Brambles from Niskayuna, has turned their focus to 3D printing much needed medical face shields.

Currently, about 50 volunteers have come together to 3D print the pieces that make up the mask, assembling them to actually delivering them to hospitals in the Northeast.

They are looking for more volunteers. If you have a 3D printer you could help make the pieces, or help deliver them or just a $10 donation can make about 10 face shields.
