We remember singer Brad Delp of Boston today (June 12) who would have been 66.

Boston in 1976 and had a string of hit singles throughout the 1970’s and 1980’s. Hits include “More than a Feeling”, “Piece of Mind”, “Rock and Roll Band”, “Foreplay/Longtime”, “Smokin'”, “Don’t Look Back”, and “Amanda”. Their self-titled debut album is one of the best-selling debut albums of all time in the U.S. with over 17 million copies sold. The band's classic lineup featured Bead Delp on vocals, guitarist Tom Scholz, guitarist Barry Goudreau, bassist Fran Sheehan, and drummer Sib Hashian. With the success of the the debut album, the band would tour with bands like Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, and Foghat. Other successful albums included Don't Look Back and Third Stage, but nothing would equal the success of the first album.

We lost Brad Delp on March 9, 2007 when sadly, he took his own life. He may be gone but his memory lives on in his music.
