Rumored Albany 6 pm Curfew And $250 Fines Are Not True

During times of crisis like what we're experiencing right now rumors, half-truths and outright lies can spread like wildfire. The Albany Police Department says that's exactly what has happened with an internet post that has been posted about a 6 pm curfew in Albany.

According to The Albany Police Department's Facebook page:

"Information circulating on social media indicating that the City of #Albany is enforcing a 6PM curfew and a fine of $250 is completely NOT TRUE."

One thing I thought was interesting was that on some of The Albany Police Department's social media posts included the phrase "At this time". So, does that mean it's something that's been considered? Like we're heard so many times before, all options are being considered.
