Sharknado – Possibly The Worst “B-Movie” Ever Made [Trailer]

Leave it to someone to cash in on the madness that is Discovery Channel's "Shark Week" with a horrible sci-fi movie idea. And that's where "Sharknado" comes in.

According to the official synopsis of the movie:

When a freak hurricane swamps Los Angeles, thousands of sharks terrorize the waterlogged populace. And when the high-speed winds form tornadoes in the desert, nature’s deadliest killer rules water, land, and air.

Yep, flying sharks coming from out of an "unstoppable" tornado. Thankfully it's not the other way around with a shark that has the body of a tornado. Then again, I wouldn't put it past the creators to try that. Just a few years ago there was "Sharktopus" - a hybrid shark head with the body of an octopus.

I love myself a bad sci-fi movie any day of the week but this is taking it too far. Just watch the trailer, how can anyone watch this with a straight face. I have to even more so ask how the actors did the same either, let alone sign up for the project.

Tara Reid is trying to salvage any career she has left and Ian Ziering is just hoping people remember him from Beverly Hills 90210.

Sharknado hits SyFy on premieres tonight (Thursday, July 11th) at 9 pm.
