Something is happening at the Madison Theater in Albany.

While the theater is currently closed, and Albany’s very own ‘blast-from-the-past’, it seems like some changes may be happening at the theater.  According to a recent post by the Times Union, the door was seen propped open.  Workers were reported to be moving things in and out, and after sitting dormant and shut down over recent years, it looks like it may be re-opening soon.

The Times Union even reported that one worker dropped a serious hint, saying the theater is expected to be opening again next month.  Plus, there will be a restaurant next door.  While seeing old movie posters and a blast-from-the-past has a fun nostalgia feel, it would be really great to see this almost-century-old theater up and running again.  You can read all about it here.
