The New York State Police want to find out who painted this picture of fallen Trooper Sgt. Jeffry Edelson. It was found close to the spot where Sgt. Edelson died in a traffic accident in 2003 on SR-55.

The State Police said that the painting was found on the side of the road. State Police think they might have an idea who painted it, but not 100%. They believe that a State Police recruit who was assigned the talk of researching Sgt. Edelson knew someone that painted and had the painting done.

The New York State Police are planning on displaying the art near the spot where Sgt. Jeffry Edelson died.
