If you love the beauty of winter, Lake George's newest winter attraction is right up your alley.

For some, it is the most dreaded season of all. But for many of us, winter brings its own beauty with the biting cold. That beauty of what can be Upstate New York's most brutal season will be on full display this coming winter

Ice Castles, the self-described "...awe-inspiring,...winter phenomenon...(is) built using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, fountains, and much more." These artists are basically taking icicles and building stunning structures that you and your family will be able to explore at Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George. The event will kick off in January and tickets will be available soon on the Ice Castles website. While we wait for this stunning display to take place, check out the photos below to see what you can expect!
