According to The Hollywood Reporter the episode coming up on May 15th will feature a 3 minute live segment at the end where Homer (voiced by Dan Castellaneta) will be able to talk about topical subjects and answer, in real time, previously submitted fan questions.

I was bit concerned for the animators when I first heard the news, I mean they'd have to be able to draw pretty quickly! Ha ha ha but the Guardian says that they'll be using motion capture technology (your guess is as good as mine) and that the live episode will be the fist time it has been done by any animated series.

With that said, if you have a question for Homer, here is your chance! Fans are going to be able to tweet their questions to homer between May 1st and May 4th using the hashtag #HomerLive . Start making those lists!

What kind of things have you been dying to ask Homer all these years?
