Seriously the Colosseum Fighting Alliance held an event at Lucky Strike in Crossgates Mall on Saturday.

I don't understand how this got no press, the Times Union has more stories and images about a bunch of smiling bumpkin cakes at the track. The nice creepy folks at Time Warner Cable news have a story about this, but it almost went unnoticed and News 10's story on the event was shorter then the Times Union's.

This was the first time that I know of that Crossgates Mall hosted an actual professional fighting event, brawls that take place in the mall do not count and although I think it would be funny to see MMA fighters beating up soccer mom's on black Friday, that does not count ether, mainly because it never happened but I still think that it would be funny if it did.

The point is that this was a major first for the Capital Region and I can't even find a clip of the fights that took place.

I don't get out much, I don't like going to Crossgates Mall because they don't let you smoke cigarettes in the parking lot and for the past 2 weeks I have been busy having a midlife crisis because I turned 35 on Saturday!

I would of loved to of seen the fights at Lucky Strike because like all of you I love beatings, beer and babes!

Instead I drank Sam Adams Octoberfest all day long and played "Star Wars: Battle Front" all night, I also couldn't afford the price of admission, but the point is: How was this not a BIG DEAL?!?!

On a side note: Check out the Pokemon I caught while waiting in the Taco Bell drive-thru in Latham!

I know that this is contradicting the point I am trying make in this blog and that it may make me part of the problem in regards to being oblivious to what is going on in the world around you, but it was the eve of my birthday so don't judge me!
