Mark Tornillo officially joined German metal band Accept in May 2009 as the replacement for original singer Udo Dirkschneider. He’s appeared on three of the band’s studio albums: Blood of the Nations, Stalingrad, and Blind Rage. A new Accept album The Rise of Chaos is due out Aug. 4 on Nuclear Blast Records. Tornillo played in the band TT Quick before joining Accept. Accept achieved commercial success in 1983 with the album Balls to The Wall and the title cut became a well known hit. The album remains Accept’s only gold album in the U.S.

Trixter from Paramus, NJ achieved success in the early 90’s with the release of their self titled debut album. The 1990 album Trixter reached No. 28 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured the singles “Give It to Me Good”, “One in a Million”, and “Surrender”. After a few other releases, the band eventually broke up. The original lineup reunited in 2008. I saw Trixter perform last year at the Rock Carnival in Lakewood, NJ and the band sounded great. Check out highlights from the festival below.
